Lauren Kiley

Lauren is a methodical and strategic thinker whose proactive approach helps clients quickly achieve meaningful results. Lauren brings a diverse legal perspective to ADVOS – her first exposure to equity sales began prior to law school where she worked in the Transactions Management Capital Markets Department of Nomura Securities’ London office; as an attorney, she has practiced as a prosecutor, appellate attorney, and law clerk. Lauren leverages that distinct background to serve clients in a compliance capacity, focusing her practice on drafting technology agreements, privacy policies, and terms of use agreements. Lauren is a Certified Information Privacy Professional through the International Association of Privacy Professionals, the most encompassing, current, highly-sought, global training and certification program for privacy and data protection. Lauren uses that knowledge to advise clients on various data privacy laws including the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). She also enjoys prosecuting trademarks and managing intellectual property portfolios for clients, and has experience drafting corporate records, employee handbooks, and employment contracts.
Lauren sits on the Board of Directors for Explorations V Children’s Museum in Lakeland, Florida, and the Florida Bar Grievance Committee for the 10th Judicial Circuit Committee A. She holds a Bachelor of Science with honors from Florida State University, and a Juris Doctor with honors from the University of Florida’s Levin College of Law.
